ACDA The Student Chapter of The American Choral Directors Association (WMU ACDA)

ACDA is an organization that promotes leadership, teamwork, and professional development in the field of Music Education. In addition, we provide educational opportunities for future educators to gain a diverse understanding in general Music Education.


ACES is used to experinece the culture of africa through dance. It is also used to enrich the minds of students which results in learning and understanding this culture. It will also be collaborated with genres such as hip hop and jazz.

Ackley Shilling FLASH (FLASH)

Ackley Shilling FLASH (Future Leaders of Ackley Shilling Halls) is a Residence Life affiliated group/council centered around developing meaniful leadership experiences and skills in and outside of the residnece halls.

AdClub @ WMU (AdClub)

The WMU AdClub is a student organization that acts as a conduit between WMU students, alumni and industry professionals. The AdClub host meetings Thursday nights in Schneider Hall.

Adventist Students for Christ (ASC)

Our Organization is a Christian Organization, and we meet every Friday for discussion meetings, fellowship, and snacks. Anyone is welcome to attend our meetings every Friday night (7pm) in Kenley Chapel's Social Room.

Aerospace Club

Our organization is dedicated towards the professional development and expansion of leadership and character traits. We strive to give every cadet and student the tools to exemplify excellence in all they do. The end goal is to develop quality leaders.

AIGA Western Michigan University Student Group (AIGA)

Our goal is to connect aspiring designers within the academic and professional communities, and to create opportunities in which to collaborate, gain experience, and employ design skills.
